Today I fished back at silks worth, I fish it quite regularly because it is my local water, well to be honets its not local at all but it’s the closest out of the lakes I fish. Today I fished at a completely different peg that I’ve ever fished from, the reason I fished here is because my dad wanted it and this guy last week caught a low double from here. When talked to the local anglers who fish this peg they say theres no real features and the reeds are my best bet. So I put my left rod on the close margin which was next to reeds and I put my other rod next to some reeds over the other side. I was lucky because soon as I had set my gear up it then started to rain so atleast I didn’t get soaked. My rigs were really simple and were the same as last session, but if you didn’t read that blog I’ll tell you now. Had a hooklenth of braid roughly 6 inches and just tied a knotless knot onto a size 8 korda kurve shank hook and then onto that I used a korda lead clip and a small lead and rig tubing. The bait I used for this session was the same as last time but if you didn’t read it then it is dynamite baits ‘the source’ boilies and pellets, on the hair I had a 15mm boilie and in the small pva bag I had a mix of 10mm boilies and 8mm pellets and 15mm boilies, only a small bag because we just want to interest the fish and not feed them. That session I unfortunately blanked but still atleast I had tried.
